TravelEdventures are the experts on everything to do with Erasmus+ (EU operated) and The Turing Scheme (UK operated) experiences abroad and perhaps you’ve heard about these types of mobilities? They’re designed to widen students’ (and learners’) horizons, by allowing them to work in a field of preference outside of their home country and to study in foreign universities. Not only do they facilitate better relationships between countries, but they improve language skills, independence, future employability, foster lifelong friendships and they’re always brilliant fun too! So are you eligible? Let’s find out more in this piece.

Who can apply for Erasmus+ or The Turing Scheme?

If you are an educational institution, such as a school, college, university or other organisation then you are able to apply for an Erasmus+ or Turing Scheme mobility on behalf of your students. However, if you’re an individual student, or a parent of a student then you cannot apply. This doesn’t mean that you or your child can’t experience one of these exciting adventures! Just go through your school, college or university. Speak to the careers’ office or teacher responsible for these types of experiences abroad and they should be able to help.

Talk to Your Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO)

There’s another route you can take too. You could go through your country’s NGO or government institution. They can also help to get the ball rolling for your or your child’s place of learning and we know because we’ve worked with dozens of NGOs across Europe (even the world) to bring these types of experiences to fruition.
