What is Erasmus+?

Meanwhile we’re thrilled that we’ve already helped so many organisations and we’ve filled gaps in local job markets. Over the years, we’ve been approached by so many organisations asking if we can help them fill vacancies and we’ve done that, matching students and young people with companies and skillsets. As we’ve worked with these companies before, sending students to them for Erasmus+ placements, we are often the first port of call when they need to fill a vacancy but can’t do it in their own local market.  

Furthermore, we’ve been approached by companies with full time positions looking for specific candidates with certain qualifications and qualities – we’ve access to those candidates through our organisation and Erasmus+. Often, these organisations have struggled to fill their positions in their local job markets – and that’s where we’ve been able to quickly step in. 

Lots of Organisations Ask for Employees from Abroad 

Many organisations ask for people from other countries. For example, in Austria there’s a massive skill deficit in tourism and we’ve been approached by companies in the sector such as hotels looking for staff.  Those companies have approached us because they know we have access to remarkable students from other parts of Europe.  These companies have found themselves in positions where they don’t have the right staff to open for the season – and we’ve helped them fill their job vacancies with high calibre people.  It’s humbling and also empowering – because we’ve helped both employers and employees.  

There’s a shortage of all kinds of jobs in Europe at the moment and we’ve been there whenever there’s been a need. In fact, often, the companies we’ve worked with supplying work placement students use us as their first choice when it comes to running their own recruitment drives.
