Best practices are important because they help organisations develop highly effective processes to streamline work. Since best practices comprise the best way to do something, implementing them can improve efficiency.
Best practice means finding and using the best ways of working to achieve objectives. It involves keeping up to date with the ways that successful organisations operate in your sector and others and measuring your ways of working against those used by the organisation’s leaders.

- Internal analysis.
- Reviewing appropriate standards.
Understanding Innovation and Good Practices
Innovation and good practices aiming to promote language skills can include, for example, teaching and assessment methods, development of pedagogical material, research, computer assisted language learning and entrepreneurial ventures using foreign languages.
Innovation may come in the form of slight changes to existing products or services or in the form of a completely new service. The innovation may come from internal sources such as a product development team or be inspired by external forces such as target requests.
