Mental health, in general, is always in the news in European countries no matter where you live– and for good reason. Without positive mental health, wellbeing suffers and it’s harder to concentrate on everyday tasks, succeed in education, in the workplace and to lead a fulfilling life. Relationships suffer as anxiety deepens and it ends up affecting every area of life.
As a company focussed on work and travel placements for the education sector, we’ve also noticed a huge shift toward promoting better mental health in the field of education, most especially post-pandemic. So we wanted to become a part of the shift, to help students who access Erasmus+ and the Turing Scheme through our service and to create a positive impact on teachers educating their students. That’s why we partnered with one of the best mental health resilience programmes in the world, Mindarma.
A Special Programme Designed to Boost Mental Health With Tried and Tested Results
Mindarma was created by an Australian team and through their initiative we’ve been able to make the programmes available to all educators in the form of engaging workshops. Each short workshop delves deep into mental health and give those attending the workshops the tools they need to deal with life’s challenges.
Let’s Bring This Programme to You!
We’re offering this programme to all of our Erasmus+ and Turing Scheme students, and their teachers or educators. We’re proud of the work that we’re doing – and we’re even more excited about this programme because it doesn’t cost a penny – it’s fully-funded through available funding bodies.
Delivered Online Through e-Learning
The other benefit of Mindarma is that it’s delivered through e-learning, so there’s no travel involved, all you need is access to a computer or laptop and a big screen if you’re running a group session. Let’s find out about the benefits of this tried-and tested, evidence-based mental health programme:
The Benefits of Mindarma
Through e-learning, those taking part learn how to practice mindfulness, while developing useful skills to help them through challenge times. This could be managing negative thoughts and emotions, dealing with stress and arming participants with strategies to help them cope with life in times of difficulty. We believe these skills are useful for all stages in life, especially during education, when travelling abroad on a placement for the first time but also later on, in the workplace.
How it Works
The entire programme is delivered online, through ten, interactive sessions. There’s also a newsletter on the Mindarma website which gives users of the programme even more beneficial information through videos, podcasts and downloads. Furthermore, there are one-off webinars held during the year to further bolster positive mental health. Each session only lasts 15 minutes, so they’re easy to fit into any schedule and this keeps the programme super-flexible.
