What started out nearly two decades ago as a small company helping to facilitate min language trips for schools has grown into a thriving organisation that spans Europe and beyond. *We Started Small….and Continued to Grow!* When we first began, we really only focussed on language placements for secondary schools. At the time, the European school curriculum involved students spending a week in another country, to help learn the language. For example, a French school might travel to London to study in an English school for a week and vice versa. Now we work with schools, colleges, universities and other educational institutions arranging trips for students from teenage years right up to 30 years old – even older adults can enjoy our work and study placements abroad! The language trips were a great success, so we gravitated towards [Erasmus+](https://erasmus-plus.ec.europa.eu/) placements, and more recently, we also work on [Turing Scheme](https://www.turing-scheme.org.uk/) placements (the UK’s version of Erasmus+ for British students). *Funding Often Equates to Approximately ¾ of the Programme’s Total Cost* As you may know, Erasmus+ and the Turing Scheme both offer terrific amounts of funding for students and learners who want to travel to Europe (and further if you’re a British student on the Turing Scheme). The funding available allows for extended trips, from 2 weeks to 6 months, some even offer a year’s work or study placement. Once you access your funding, your Erasmus+ or Turing Scheme programme will be adjusted according to the amount you have available. As a rough idea of how much funding is available, schools usually receive funding of approximately ¾ of the total programme cost – which is impressive! *We Match Your School to Another School with the Same Profile* There’s more too. As we’ve been organising these types of mobilities for so many years, we understand the process inside out. We’ve also operated in 27 European countries (and further), partnering with schools, colleges, universities, other education institutions and NGOs too. When you choose us for your Erasmus+ or Turing Scheme adventure, you get the added bonus of our experience. We partner you with a perfect match – another school, college, university or other that fits your own school’s profile. This is yet another reason why we are trusted by so many – and our reputation is excellent. So, if you want help organising your Erasmus+ or Turing Scheme mobilities, and want an expert right by your side, TravelEdventures is the right partner for you.
